Year 2020 at the beginning, had schedules for a whole lot of sporting events, but the Coronavirus Pandemic that struck the world had some of these events postponed, some rescheduled to contain the spread of the virus, as many countries had lockdown declared by their government.<\/p>\n

As the year went by, different countries eased the lockdown and some sporting activities were staged to the delight of sports betting fans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

2020 had many sporting activities, and here\u2019 our top 5 sporting moments of 2020.<\/p>\n

  1. Bayern Munich winning the UEFA Champions League <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The German giants last won the title in 2013, before finally winning it in August. They had always come close, getting to the semi finals 3 times, and the quarter final once before this year.<\/p>\n

    They won it in grand style as they didn\u2019t lose any game till they got to the final and beat PSG, the 8-2 win against Barcelona was also a huge point in their quest to winning it.<\/p>\n

    1. Lebron James winning another NBA Championship<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      A top one it is. For the first time since since Kobe Bryant\u2019s last title and his fifth 10 years ago, the Lakers became NBA champions.<\/p>\n

      Lebron James had 28 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists as Los Angeles Lakers beat Miami heat 106 \u2013 93 to win the NBA.<\/p>\n

      1. Leeds United getting Promoted to the English Premier League <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        After 16 years of absence from the Premier League, Argentinian Coach, Marcelo Bielsa led them back to the top division.<\/p>\n

        Prior to the promotion, it had been a long and painful journey to the Premier league for the fans of Leeds United who had seen their team reach the Semi-final of the UEFA Champions League in 2001.<\/p>\n

        They fell into a dreadful financial position when they got relegated to the championship in 2004, but 16 years after, they returned back, and it doesn\u2019t look like they\u2019re going to return anytime soon.<\/p>\n

          This moment is so great, because after he won the title in Turkey, he put out a post on his Instagram to continue to lend his voice to the cause of racial justice.<\/p>\n
