Here’s a Full list of the Round of 16 Draw

Borussia  Monchengladbach vs. Manchester City

City qualified for the round of 16 having scooped 16 points from a possible 18 points. The cityzens will face the German side who qualified ahead of Shakhtar Donetsk and Internazionale in their group.

Both sides last met in 2016, with City thrashing Monchengladbach 4-0 in England and a 1-1 draw in Germany.

This game on paper looks like a game City should conquer, but City this season haven’t shown too much excitement in the League, and probably haven’t had a real test in the UEFA Champions League, like Monchengladbach that survived such a tough group that had Real Madrid, Internazionale and Shakhtar Donetsk.

Lazio vs. Bayern Munich

Lazio face a daunting task as they’ll be facing the Champions of the UEFA Champions League. A lackluster performance from the Italian team could see Bayern do so much damage and put in so much goals from both legs.

Bayern has this one easy for them no doubt, as it’s a two-legged affair

Atletico Madrid vs. Chelsea

This is one big game for the round of 16 schedules. Their last meeting two seasons ago in the group stages was exciting, as Chelsea won away in Spain and Drew in England.

Both teams have had a good season so far in their respective leagues and in the UEFA Champions League too.

This is a game where the team who wants it the most, gets to reach the next stage, no clear favourites.

 RB Leipzig vs. Liverpool

Currently, Liverpool has a better 1 v 1 performance index, with 330. Leipzig has 21 goals and Liverpool has a total of 26 goals.

Both teams had a good outing in the group stages. Both teams can score goals too, hence it’s going to be tough to pick a winner, but Liverpool still should edge it.

Porto vs. Juventus

Juventus’ better experience than that of Porto in the UEFA Champions League is going to be deciding factor. Porto’s chances against the old lady is so slim. Juventus should have this for themselves.

Barcelona vs. Paris Saint Germain

A regular fixture in recent times. Barcelona’s form this season isn’t too good, and with their messy defence, this could be the end point for the Spanish giants. PSG have faced real test this season already unlike Barcelona. Anything could happen here, but PSG are favourites as they played in last season’s Final.

Sevilla vs. Dortmund

This is also a game where the team who shows more hunger will edge. Any of the teams can qualify, probably their home games advantage will decide their fate.

 Atalanta vs. Real Madrid

A tough one for Atalanta, yes, very tough. Madrid are the most successful team in this competition, and they have all the records to beat Atalanta home and away, but most importantly qualifying ahead of the Italian team.

Atalanta’s best will be scoring against the white angels. Madrid has this, no contest.
