Ronaldo set for second coming on Matchday 4 of the Premier League

After a two-week international break, the English Premier League is back in all of its glory for a fourth round of matches in the 2021/22 season.

In the first three rounds of matches, there were lots of drama and talking points, but matchday four promises to be much more explosive.

Our experts here have put together previews and tips ahead of the matchday four encounters in the Premier League;

  • Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Hotspur: Patrick Vieira’s Eagles take on league leaders Tottenham Hotspur in their fourth London derby of the season in the matchday’s early kick-off. Crystal Palace are yet to pick up any win in the league this season, and would be doing battle against a Tottenham side that has won all three of its matches so far this season without conceding a single goal. Despite being the away side, Spurs are favourites to pick up maximum points from this clash.

Crystal Palace win- 3.95 odds; Tottenham win- 1.90 odds; Draw- 3.40 odds.

  • Watford vs Wolves: Wolverhampton Wanderers would be looking for their first points of the season when they visit newly-promoted Watford in their league clash. Watford have lost both of their games since their opening day victory over Aston Villa. Wolves were quite unlucky to come away from their last match in the league without any points, and their manager Bruno Lage would be eagerly looking to pick up his first points in charge of the side.

Watford win- 3.20 odds; Wolves win- 2.25 odds; Draw- 3.15 odds.

  • Brentford vs Brighton: An undefeated Brentford would welcome Brighton to the Brentford Community Stadium in the hopes of extending their unbeaten start to the season. Brighton have looked good this season and would definitely provide stern test for the Bees. The Seagulls have won two of their three matches this season, only losing their last match to Everton.

Brentford win- 2.75 odds; Brighton win- 2.70 odds; Draw- 3.00 odds.

  • Arsenal vs Norwich City: Norwich City travel to London to take on the only side below them in the Premier League this season. Both sides have a lot in common this season, having both been thrashed by Manchester City and having a negative goal difference of -9 after there matches. Norwich have not won in any of their last 23 matches in London and are tipped to continue that run against Arsenal.

Arsenal win- 1.51 odds; Norwich win- 6.00 odds; Draw- 4.30 odds.

  • Manchester United vs Newcastle United: New Manchester United signing Cristiano Ronaldo would get to make his second debut for the club in front of their fans at Old Trafford when they lock horns with Newcastle United. The Red Devils have picked up seven points so far this season, and Newcastle have only picked up one point. The Red Devils are clear favourites to pick up maximum points from the match.

Man Utd win- 1.20 odds; Newcastle win- 13.00 odds; Draw- 7.25 odds.

  • Southampton vs West Ham: After dropping their first points of the season on matchday three, West Ham would be looking to avoid a similar blip when they visit a Southampton side that has failed to dazzle in the league this season. The Saints have been solid and are undefeated since their opening day loss to Everton, but may find the firepower of West Ham too strong for them.

Southampton win- 2.80 odds; West Ham win- 2.40 odds; Draw- 3.30 odds.

  • Leicester City vs Manchester City: Leicester will host champions Manchester City in an early rematch of the Community Shield which the Foxes won. They would be looking to repeat the feat they achieved early last season against Manchester City by defeating them once more. The champions are on an impressive run of form that has seen them score 10 un-replied goals in their last two games, and are expected to do the business against Leicester.

Leicester win- 5.50 odds; Man City win- 1.57 odds; Draw- 4.00 odds.

  • Chelsea vs Aston Villa: Chelsea would welcome the test of Aston Villa in their first match back from the international break. The Blues went into the break on a good run of form and would look to build on their momentum by claiming a win over an Aston Villa side that almost cost them a place in this season’s UEFA Champions League. Aston Villa will hope they can do enough to hurt Chelsea like they did in the final game of last season.

Chelsea win- 1.28 odds; Aston Villa win- 10.50 odds; Draw- 5.50 odds.

  • Leeds United vs Liverpool: When high octane football meets high octane football, an exciting match-up usually ensues. Liverpool would be looking to pick up maximum points from their match against a Leeds United side that is yet to win in the league this season. The Reds will look to continue their impressive start to the season by picking up another three points.

Leeds win- 4.05 odds; Liverpool win- 1.76 odds; Draw- 3.90 odds.

  • Everton vs Burnley: Rafael Benitez will look to continue his impressive start to life as Everton boss when his side lines up against Burnley. Burnley have failed to win so far this season in three attempts, and would be hoping to rectify that statistic.

Everton win- 1.74 odds; Burnley win- 4.85 odds; Draw- 3.55 odds.
